Recipes We've Found or Invented

Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

I think I originally found this sort of recipe on the internet in high school.  Each time I've looked it up since, I've found a slight variation a different page.  I'm afraid I don't know where I found the most recent one - it's handwritten.

It is a very tasty recipe. I use fresh grated orange rind and then I just squeeze the juice out of the orange, so that I don't have to buy a whole carton of juice.  I've never made it with dried orange rind, but I'm sure it would be fine.  I don't usually measure the bananas - it takes 2-4 bananas, depending on the size.  I usually just use however many are left and getting too brown and spotty to eat.   I don't usually measure the chocolate chips either ; you can't really have too many! :-)Our combination oven/microwave/cooker sometimes takes more time and sometimes less, so just watch for it to get golden brown and pass the toothpick test.
